Convoluted

Dinner for the grown ups and games for the kiddos at our place. Playing musical chairs Hilarious to watch the kids playFelt really sorry for Joshua - they were playing masks game and when it was Joshua's turn to wear the tiger mask - he told dd that 'tiger was hungry and needed to eat up the children'.

Unfortunately for the sweet boy , the clock had just struck 8pm - dd's bedtime and like clockwork, she became super cranky and started bawling and pushing Joshua for being 'naughty because he cannot eat the children who are her friends'. Very convoluted and embarassing. Sigh. Really felt super sorry for Joshua. Thankfully, the good natured boy looked more bewildered than hurt.

Examination

DD's 'FIRST examination' !
Praise the Lord, she was mostly calm, didn't freak out, bail out nor scramper for cover behind me. Even when she realised the invigilator was a caucasian male uncle (she has always been a little intimidated and never had a male teacher before)

Sitting moodily by herself next to the ABRSM staff, outside the exam room. Parents not even allowed to wait with her =( . Thankfully, dd did very well, eliciting comments from the invigilator:
"Confident and fluent playing with excellent control of touch and rhythm."

Outing

Many thanks to auntie Lilian for inviting us to her new place ! Very nice location too =)

I like this below photo very much =). 2 of dd's dearest pals sitting together in our car and they were all very well behaved in the car too.

Open house

St James Church Kindergarten's open house. DD's class project was on 'trees'. Every class had a different project theme.
The principal gamely summoned all the parents for her class to witness the planting of a small plant
The class room was all decked out and the kids were all 'dressed' up in their 'costumes' tooDD was very proud of her own drawing on her class project that she submitted

Friends

DD LOVES having her friends over. The mummies are glad too - for a chance to chat and catch up while to kids are engaged in play

Party

A fun filled 'ball-themed' birthday party! Thank you Auntie Alice for inviting us.
Multi colored football jerseys for all the kids-guests, with the birthday boy in the only blue colored jersey.Various ball games for the guests Forever hungry dd snucked out to grab some party grub and refused to smile for the camera because she wanted "to eat not take photos" =)Birthday ball-cupcakes and huge football cake to round off the party!

Alone

This marks the first time my timid dd ventured on all rides ALONE. It was a free-for-kids 'amusement park' at Novena Square. Fantastic fun - from the games stall to the ferris wheel ride, they were all foc. DD went numerous rounds on her favorite spinning teacups ride.
