Following the passing of tai ma ,
These were some comments made by dd:
1) The casket company had embalmed tai ma and put make up on her face. The lipstick they drew looked horrendous. DD was appalled as was everyone else. First thing that dd said was "How come tai ma put on the funny lipstick ? "
2) DD asked dh : How come Jesus forgot to bring tai ma's body along with Him ?
DH: Jesus only brings the spirit/ soul.
DD: what is Spirit / soul ?
DH: Something inside your body that gives you feelings/ emotions
DD: Nooo , I thought what is inside your body are BONES ??
3) During one of our prayers time,
DD told dh : we must remember to pray for tai ma too.
I think Jesus must be holding a party for her right now, right?
Because tai ma is very new there (in heaven) so Jesus is holding a party to welcome her right ?

Tai ma
Tai ma is ill
She was in the high dependeny ward for more than a fortnight before shifting to a private ward
Grand uncle Paul decided to buy a hospital bed and hire day/night nurses so that tai ma can finally go back home, to where she's most comfortable. Her doctors made house calls to check on her.
The stash of medicine accompanying tai ma home from the hospital. Two weeks later, Tai ma finally succumbed to her ailments, and passed away peacefully in her sleep 
May the choirs of angels come to greet you.
May they speed you to paradise
May the Lord enfold you in his mercy.
Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May the souls of the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God rest in peace.

Holiday II
The kids enjoyed themselves tremendously. Jaydon won my respect totally for knocking out at 6pm till the next morning out of sheer fatigue. Joshua managed to get up at 9pm for some dinner and late night shopping.
Holiday
Our walkie talkie for a children's day 3-day road trip. At the end of the trip, dd declared that it was " the best holiday ever " =)

Concert
DD's N2 school concert =) 
DH and I were there to cheer her on and applaud her efforts at trying to keep time. Their class segment was a simple dance and it was quite hilarious to see the kids bumping into each other as they move left, right, forward and back. DD even had to tell another boy that he wasn't her partner when he mistakenly turned to the left instead of the right and grabbed her hand.
Most of the kids did pretty well, but some children were understandably overwhelmed and gawked at the audience =)
