Off

DH took the afternoon off from work to accompany us to sm class today. After class we detoured to Aprisin to check out some Little tikes toys that we were keen on. DD who had slept badly the night before (woke up at 1am, 2am, 5am and many times in between) was nodding off thru out the car ride but awoke when we reached our destination. Not sure how she does it, short hours of sleep during the night and no nap in the day as well ?!
We drove back after Aprisin and decided to drop by Taka to pick up dh's 3 new pairs of zara jeans before heading home for dd's dinner.

ABCs

Enroute to the frog farm, dd kept us entertained with her rendition of the ABC song

Frogs

A long day of gai gai for dd who was still nursing a huge mozzie bite on her left eyelid, from her playdate yesterday. We started the day off at Vivocity with popo. Lunch at HK kim gary followed by shopping at toys r us. After our shopping, popo picked up gonggong to go to the Frog farm together. The amphibians made a real din just croaking away and I was surprised to find my goose pimples popping, to see so many of these slimy shiny creatures in one place. DD was clearly excited and tried to imitate the croaking sound reverbrating around her. Not the real thing, but it suffices for dd =P DD having her dinner at Ichiban after our froggy expedition

Playdate

A play date with Lucas, Sean, Colby, Nathan, Jesse and dd. DD was the only girl amongst the lads but she was right at home mangling the toy cars and dinosaurs together with them. DD arranging all the four legged animals neatly in a group

Discovery

After our lunch, we browsed at the Sun Moon supermarket upstairs the cafe which also housed Huber's butchery. We ventured further up to the 3rd floor to the deserted friven store where dd had fun playing in the children's dept.

Tanglin tree

A late sunday lunch at the latest child-friendly cafe in town. The tanglin tree located at the old tanglin post office has one of the largest and better equiped play area that I have come across in a restaurant. It has a huge pretty tree house, a flying fox, a huge sandpit, a quiet activity corner and also a kiddie slide. Will be back there again for sure! Alrite children, say cheese ... Dylan : This pasta is too yummy, nothing gonna drag me away DD: Are we done with the photo taking yet ? Can I stop posing already?

DD: Alrite, I better get cracking.. DD: ok, 3 more stools to go..DD: phew, this is hard work

Offkey

All of 21 months old, dd has been making valiant attempts at singing. I have been trying hard to catch one of dd's spontaneous attempts at offkey warbling on video and it has been really one tall order as this video will show. The first video is one of her earlier recording of her 'version' of 'twinkle twinkle little star' before she's interuppted and she starts doing part of the shichida energy ball =P. After which she continues with her singing. Pardon all the interruptions inbetween, dd didn't seem to be in a rush to finish singing the song...
