Comedy

Tonight we left dd at ah ma's house for we were part of the sell-out crowd that thronged Kumar's performance at the esplanade theatre. A standup comedy for a limited 3 day run only, the tickets have been long sold out. It was fantastic and we are grateful to Melody for arranging fabulous seats for us 10 rows from the stage and smack in the middle of the theatre.

Prior to the show, a few of us met up at the esplanade restaurant: 7atenine for dinner and drinks. It was supposed to be a tapas 10 course set dinner for $42.80 per person. Out of the 10 courses, we got to eat half a cherry tomato each, 2 chix wing, mini baguette, tomato puree, and a tiny morsel of chocolate cake. We spoke to the manager about our missing courses but it was fultile. They kept saying it was coming, but it never showed up. Total scam and rip off. Visit them at your own peril.
Thanks goodness for the great company we had and the show as well, at least the evening wasn't lost. The famous drag queen's brochure given out at the show had a condom sample attached to it.
