The oldest temple in Taiwan - the Long shan temple is easily accessible via the efficient MTR. Even tho' we are catholics, it doesn't stop us from visiting this famous landmark and showing dd a different form of religious belief. 
Back at the MTR station, I couldn't resist snapping a shot of this huge signage prominently displayed. Fans of these infamous ugly rubber sandals so popular in Singapore, may find the warning on the signage of interest to them. Interestingly, we didn't see one single pair of these 'rubber shoes' anywhere in Taiwan altho' they must have been commonplace enough to justify the authorities printing out these huge signages to warn consumers of this particular type of footwear and not any other types. Perhaps the overt warnings have fulfilled its purpose to warn off consumers, who knows?
